|Applying for a Student Loan...

The Community for Undergrads with Attitude!
I am going to Stanford this summer to participate in their summer program. I am a veteran and have been using the Post-9/11 GI Bill. However, I have to pay for everything up front and wait to be reimbursed by the school, once they get the money from the government. I can swing this financially at the community college I currently attend, but I am not going to be able to do so at Stanford.
I was wondering if I would be able to take out a student loan just for the summer semester? Also, could it cover on campus housing and a meal plan? Or would it only cover the classes? (That would be fine with me, as I would be able to cover the on campus housing and meal plan if need be, I just won't be able to cover all of it out of pocket.)
Thanks in advance!
